 Our deserts are extreme with an average of 25mm (1") annual rainfall with many years of almost no rain what-so-ever. The flora and fauna of the Arava and the Eilat Mountains are a mixture of the African savannah, and Mediterranean climates. In addition, Eilat is in the migratory path of an amazing variety of birds passing between Europe, Asia, and Africa twice a year. |

| Under and On the Sea: Our crystal clear sea provides so many things to do that we had to create a listing of it's own . Relax at one of our many beaches, snorkel above a beautifully alive reef, or soar high in the sky on a parasail pulled by a speedboat. Our experienced dive centers can guide you around our coral reefs, whether you are an experienced licensed diver or whether you want to experience one of the the diving experiences for first time divers. Kite surfing and wind surfing are the greatest here, as our almost constant northern wind blows down the Rift valley across our blue (Red) sea. It's all in Under and On the Sea. |
